Buy Art, Shipped Direct to You
Buy art photography direct from the artist's studio; have it shipped directly to your doorstep. After you buy artwork, it faces a number of challenges during shipment: weather, stacking, and a long journey. My packaging philosophy: get it right the first time, every time. There is no need for either of us to worry about the safety of your artwork between purchase and delivery.
Limited edition photographs are sent via USPS priority mail, FedEx, DHL, or UPS. All are insured against damage and guaranteed to be replaced if not in pristine condition.
Due to the pandemic: some processing and shipping times have been extended, especially international shipping. Few packages will require a signature during the pandemic, inquire or request your preferences.

Shipping and packaging details
Limited edition photographs are sent via USPS priority mail, FedEx, DHL, or UPS. All are insured against damage and guaranteed to be replaced if not in pristine condition upon arrival. In the unlikely event of damage, photographs must be returned before replacement, ask me for instructions first.
Photographs arrive domestically within 3 days of shipment. Photographs are wrapped in glassine or archival sleeving, double-packed in a round cardboard tube, encased in a sturdy box, and packed with bubble packing. Photographs 40 inches/102 cm and larger will be protected by special rigid packaging.
Books are shipped domestically via USPS and typically arrive in less than one week (48 United States) after shipment. Expedited US shipping delivers books in 2-3 days. Priority mail shipping upgrade is available on photobooks for most US destinations at no additional costs. This is helpful when an order is for a gift deadline such as a birthday or Christmas. Books are double-packed with cardboard and bubble wrap.
Some orders may require a signature for delivery.
Undeliverable packages that are returned to me are subject to reshipping charges.
Glassine, an archival protective layer, covers the face of the artwork. This specialized material is industry standard for archival protection in transit.
The artwork is rolled and secured with low-tack tape. The heavy-duty tube will protect the artwork in transit. End caps are secured with tape on both ends. This tube should be opened by a frame shop to ensure the safe unpacking. The certificate of authenticity will be in this tube with the art.
A weather barrier may be necessary dependant on the transit distance, season, and final destination. A waterproof polyethylene film is secured with stretch wrap which you can easily remove.
An eco-friendly bubble pack fully wraps the inner container. If the outer box is damaged by rough handling, you may remove the bubble pack for peace of mind that the art tube remains safe.
The tube is fully covered in bubble pack and placed in a sturdy box. These are heavy-duty and eco-sourced (same boxes my art paper arrived in.) Look for a thank-you card in your box!
Ready to ship
The outside of the box is labeled for tracked and insured shipping. Your address will be hand-written on the box as a contingency for any damage to the shipping label. You'll see my logo and fragile stickers, language-appropriate to the destination.
Rolled shipping is the safest way to transport archival photographs on heavy paper. Art paper is on a roll during printing and re-rolling does not harm it. Framers are accustomed to rolled artwork and the photograph does not suffer from the process.
If you prefer, sizes up to 24x36 can be shipped flat in a double-walled, lined package (e.g. Masterpak.) Packaging and shipping costs are higher for flat shipping and fulfillment times may be longer, based on availability of materials. Flat shipping can be cost-effective for three or more artworks of the same size. Want your art shipped flat instead of rolled? Let's discuss!
